Meanwhile, Birdman and The Grand Budapest Hotel lead the way with nine nominations each

The two movies - which will compete for the prestigious Best Picture prize - are both nominated in a total of nine categories for the Academy Awards , including Best Director and Best Original Screenplay.

Also joining them in the best film field is The Imitation Game - starring the incredible Benedict Cumberbatch - which follows closely behind with eight nominations.

The Sherlock star will face stiff competition for the Best Actor prize, as he is joined by Steve Carell (Foxcatcher), Bradley Cooper (American Sniper), Michael Keaton (Birdman) and Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything).

Drudge says there is 'fury' as Oscars go 'all white'.

How could those libs make such a 'mistake'?

Oops...

Unfortunately, the fury will be directed at conservative whites and not the liberal whites who are responsible for it in the first place.

I don't think that was a mistake at all...

As usual, I haven't seen any of the movies, though Birdman, American Sniper, Imitation Game and maybe Boyhood look interesting.
