I got "Ukraine", the sixth-heaviest drinking nation on the list. I am not in the least surprised, especially since much of my family emigrated here from... the Ukraine.

Solomon Islands, although even that overstates it since I don't drink the same amount every week.  Most weeks I drink nothing at all.

Yeah, it seems like most of the non-drinking countries are those under sharia. Joy.

Why do alcohol and liberty have to always go hand-in-hand? Is humanity incapable of being free and sober at the same time?

Rather the opposite. Want heavy drinkers? Look for places with less liberty, not more.
