Nurse Nina Pham says she feels 'fortunate and blessed.'

President Barack Obama on Friday greeted Nina Pham, the nurse who has recovered from Ebola, with a big embrace.
Standing in the Oval Office — without reporters, since only still photographers were allowed in — Obama wrapped both his arms around the nurse, just released from the National Institutes of Health facility in the Washington suburbs.
Press secretary Josh Earnest said that the meeting had been requested by the White House if she felt up to it, and that she had only been cleared to meet the president after five separate tests were done on Pham.
“We were certainly pleased to see that she accepted the invitation,” Earnest said.
Pham appears to have contracted Ebola from the Liberian man whom she treated — and who later died — in a Dallas hospital.
Neither Pham, nor Obama is expected to speak publicly Friday about Ebola. Pham spoke at a news conference upon her release, saying she felt “fortunate and blessed.”
Obama chatted with Pham during the meeting and was overheard talking about the bravery of health care workers.
