I voted "yes." 

If a thug like Ty Cobb and an inveterate drunk and womanizer like Babe Ruth can make it, Rose deserves to be right there with them.

I say he should be put in the HOF...AFTER he is dead.

Baseball was once recognized and cherished as the Game that expressed what was the USA.  What we were as Americans.

It's the last bastion of an honest time.  A Game about dealing with failure every day.  Seventy percent of the time. Lately more.

A game where a muffed throw on a bunt...a passed ball...can be the difference between winning the pennant or being another bridesmaid.

And it can be done by an average-sized or smaller in stature man.

Pete Rose gambled on his team winning or losing while he was the manager.  GTFO!
