Spring!
« on: April 14, 2014, 09:26:38 pm »
Was doing my daily walk in the park and in my yard today and just had to take some pictures - it's Spring!  These pictures were taken on my phone and I'm for sure no photographer, but I hope you enjoy them and maybe get in the spirit of Spring yourselves.  Please feel free to post any pictures of your own - Spring pictures!

Yeah.  Spring.

It's going to be 33 degrees tonight in North Texas.

We had a spectacular 80 degrees earlier and then it clouded over.   High of only 68 tomorrow with thunderstorms.

Goodbye cherry blossoms.

Yeah.  Spring.

It's going to be 33 degrees tonight in North Texas.

LOL!  That's one reason I wanted to take the pictures - it's supposed to get down to 28 degrees here tomorrow night!  I don't know how the new buds and blooms are going to make it.   8888crybaby

Is tonight supposed to be the lunar eclipse?  It figures - it's cloudy and supposed to rain tonight.

It was 80 on Saturday, near 80 on Sunday (I played golf in shorts) -  and snowing right now. The temp tonight will be in the low-20s. Auggghhhhhhhhhhh.   8888crybaby

I think so.

Yep.  As is typical everytime we have an interesting astronomical event - it was cloudy and raining here.  I missed it.

Snowing here right now too.   :th_10444:

It is supposed to go down in the twenties tonight here, I hope that doesn't hurt the broccoli, cabbage, lettuce, radishes and carrots I have lovingly nurtured.

I haven't bothered to do any yard or garden work yet, being all too familiar with the weather around here. We could get snow in May.  **nononono*

I missed the moon last night because of rain and clouds. Woke up to a couple inches of snow! Cats won't even go outside, and the salt trucks are busy. This is "The Winter of Our Discontent".  :silly:

We still have 38 inches of snow. I can tell it is spring. Robins are in town and the creeks aren't frozen over. You can hear them.
