It was tremendous....brought a tear to this baseball fan's eye.  Baseball will do that to you if you follow it long enough.

Last time that happened?  Ted Williams' All Star Game festivities appearance in a wheel chair.

And the time before that....Mickey Mantle crying after the Mazerowski HR in the 1960 World Series.  I was fourteen years old.
