And yes, it was the best of his years, I think. As is the nature of things, he was a hard, hard man. Self made and successful. but those latter years were softened.by miracles and grandchildren. He left this earth better for it, a beloved patriarch.  happy77 :beer:

There is more than one type of pancreatic cancer.  One results in certain death, usually in a short period of time.  The other is actually curable.  I had a good friend have the latter, he was cured and lived a normal life.

She will be like John McCann, attempting to stir the pot with her last breath.  I do not wish her ill will regarding her health, but I would like her out of our government yesterday.  She is a complete quack!!!

Prayers for her.

I can’t believe she is even 74?

Pancreatic is terrible.  Mostly because it can’t usually be found until too late.

Just went to a party for my dear departed sister’s elder friend, who is turning 80.

She’s had pancreatic Dx for the last 2 years and is looking great.

I sure hope they’re getting better at this.
