But you can remove them without disqualifying them from holding an office in the future.

One would have to be in office in order to remove that person from office.  If you can't remove them, you can't disqualify them either.

See:  Article II, Section 4

The only persons who can be removed are the President, Vice President, or any civil officers.  Donald Trump is currently none of those.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

Agree completely about someone who has left office.  I guess I misread what you were saying.  I took what you said to mean that both happen automatically when one is impeached.
The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years. The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

No, I was saying that you can't disqualify unless you have removed first - which can't be done.  But yes, under ordinary circumstances, you could vote to remove without disqualifying.

I have seen Monkey shit fights at the zoo more organized than this impeachment mess.

@Wingnut

Put 'em in suits,let them run as Dims,and most would win.

@Hoodat

It doesn't matter. ALL the Dims have to run on is "Bad Orange Man",so they are going to do anything and everything they can do to keep him in the press. If they lose Trump,the only thing they will have to talk about is themselves,and they just can't allow that to happen.
