A coalition of 14 conservative European parliamentarians, led by the Sweden Democrats, on Monday nominated U.S President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.

”For his courage and commitment to the cause of peace in the Middle East, the Balkans, and on the Korean Peninsula, we wish to nominate United States President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize,” the coalition said in a statement.

”In support of America’s global leadership for peace and prosperity under President Donald J. Trump. Our nomination is the largest nomination yet, with 14 parliamentarians from 11 different European nations nominating Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize,” it said.

The news I see only mentions his third nomination back in September; these include stories from FoxNews and NYPost.  The Noble prize website has no mention of this....  I dunno 'bout this "breaking news".  It needs further support....  But then, it may be a back channel?

Why do you claim to be a Patriot?  I don't see that, with your posts.  There have been 4 nominations,  before this news.

It's just a matter of verifying news; nothing to do with patriotism.  To me patriotism is not being a "yes person" to all news that benefits my preferred party. (Not making accusations here.) Some stuff is patently false, from the left and the right....  It is what it is.  The bottom line is that most on this forum are on the same page as to who should win tonight. The comments may differ depending on individuals but that's what makes this room so interesting.  I'll be on the live thread tonight for election news!
