You are right,he didn't. BUT.....,even Kings pretend to represent the people,AND,IIRC,he called for EVERYONE to share,not just the people. Which is really what got him and his followers in trouble. Kings tend to not see "sharing" in the same light as most people.

That is the major problem with religions. Each one has their own opinions on what is right and what is wrong.

This is no big deal as long as no "One Religion" dominates all the others to the point of becoming "The Official One True Religion",but it is something worth watching by all of us regardless of your individual religious POV.

I'm not religious myself, although I'm not an atheist.
The only religions I really look askance at are the ones who say to be a good member you have to go out and kill people who aren't members of your religion.
I can only think of one religion that states that in their holy book.
