The Astros came up swinging and spraying line drives all over the place . . . four straight hits to open, a little more to come, and it's 4-0, Astros after one full inning . . .

Nobody outside of Florida wants to see the Tampa Bay Rays reach the World Series. 

Certainly not MLB or the Networks.  Not even baseball purists want to see them.   (Perhaps the NLCS winner   :bolt:       )

Luckily all paths to the World Series go thru Yankeetown.

I am toasting the end of a surprisingly good season with what is the last finger and half of my Laphroaig Lore....  a fitting finish on both fronts!!

Have the feeling that the REAL 'championship' series is the Astros/Yankees...and the an Astro/Nats World Series would be anti-climatic.

I don't take anythng for granted.  These Astros go into unexplicit slumps out of the blue.  I was afraid games 3 & 4 of this TB series were going to carry over into Game 5.

Astros cold bats + Scherzer and Strausberg and Corbin = Nats WS win
