If Mrs. Botox had the votes, she would shout it from the rooftops. I think she's shown the egregious dishonesty of the democommies. She's taking all the oxygen from the 2020 can't-idates.
@austingirl

Pelosi has the votes.  225 Congressmen have publicly announced their support for impeachment proceedings.  Pelosi is using a trick she learned from President Dubya.  In the run up to the Iraq invasion the rats howled that Dubya couldn't invade Iraq because he needed approval from the American people.  Dubya said "No I don't.  I have authorization left over from the '91 Iraq authorization of use of force legislation."  The rats squeeled for weeks about the "lawless" Dubya when he finally made his nationwide address and the polls showed huge support for Dubya.  Then the rats said Dubya had to get Congressional approval and Dubya said "No I don't.  I have authorization left over from the Congressional authorization of use of force in Iraq legislation of '91."  The rats grew increasingly shrill until Dubya went to Congress and got approval.  Then the rats said Dubya needed UN approval and  Dubya said "No I don't.  I have authorization left over from the UN '91 Iraq authorization of use of force legislation and several UN resolutions since."  The rats lost there minds for weeks until Dubya took his case to the UN and won more authorization.  The thing is Dubya intended to seek support from the voters, Congress, and the UN all along.  He was just waiting for the right time.  Great politics, just like great comedy, is often less about substance and more about of the right timing.

Pelosi will wait and see what information she can gather before voting.  She will wait until Pompeo and others are on record as saying they will not turn over documents because Pelosi has not had a formal vote on impeachment.  She will wait until the Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity have convinced their followers that Pelosi doesn't have the votes.  Only then will she commit her caucus to a vote.  After the vote she will say "I have done as the GOP demanded, now stop stalling.  I want those subpoenaed documents immediately."

It's smart politics.

I think the American people are smart enough to see that Pelosi is proceeding in this fashion because she doesn't want the GOP to have subpoena power or any say in the process. It is inherently wrong and people of conscience should see that. At least I hope so.

As more of Schiff's lies and collusion with the complainant surface, those democraps who want to keep their jobs may bolt, but probably lack the integrity and guts to do so.

It sure would be nice if Cruz or some other alleged Republican would announce they were going to start an investigation into the dealings Pelosi's husband has had with his Chinese partners in Norinco and other Chinese businesses selling in America,in order to see if there are any possible connections between the two of the collaborating  in order to tip off Norinco about the BATF raid on their headquarters in Long Beach. The Chinese had been importing full-auto AK's into America to sell to Mexican and American gangs,and the BATF had been investigating it for a couple of years.

As required by law,the BATF had to brief the Senate Committee that Nancy chaired the night before the raid was to take place. Guess what? SOMEONE tipped off the Chinese,and EVERY SINGLE CHINESE citizen in Ca caught a plane out of the country before midnight. When the BATF pulled the raid the next morning they found the crates of machine guns,but there was not a single soul in the whole building. Not even a secretary or a security guard. All gone.

IF I were the suspicious type, I MIGHT suspect that Nancy placed a call to hubby to warn him so he could warn them.

I agree,but I THINK the major factor is they want to wait until the last possible moment so they can still be holding hearings and leaking new "info" to the press on election day. That way neither Trump nor the alleged Republican Party will have had the opportunity to defend themselves against the charges by the time people are voting.

Thanks for the information. I remember this vaguely. The thing is, so many in congress are corrupt to the core and are afraid their own pocket-lining will be exposed.

Just about everybody is afraid to cross a speaker of the house. They have too damn much power,and very little to hold them back.

Everything I wrote is a matter of public record,though. Her husband WAS the chief legal counsel to the Chinese arms company known as Norinco,the BATF briefed the committee she chairs the day before the raid,and someone tipped off all the Chinese there were search warrants and arrest warrants out on them,and they ALL flew out of the country that night.

You have a much higher opinion of the American people than I do.  I heard 50% of Americans possess below average intelligence.
