All articles I have read on the subject agree that Megyn Kelly will be gone as well, within a couple of months.

Her ratings are abysmal and she has made many more enemies than friends at her new job.

Megyn Kelly's NBC ratings sink for fourth straight week

The program is summertime filler. She's moving to daytime in the fall anyway.

Besides, no one watches news magazines on network TV anymore anyway, with the possible exception of 60 Minutes.

That's what I liked about Greta.  She always managed to make her points without all the yelling, screaming, arm-waving, and talking over people.
As she said in the tweets cited above, her mistake was trying to stick to the facts. MSNBC doesn't like that.

FWIW...........I would rather watch the yule log burning then ever watch anything on FNC

I would REALLY rather watch Kim Jong Un burning!  :0012:

mankind would be no more justified in silencing that one person, than he, if he had the power, would be justified in silencing mankind.

I always liked Greta because she knew how to ask a question then get the hell out of the way.  Definitely a lost art.

On the other end of the spectrum you have the unwatchable Lou Dobbs.  Porky Pig can spit out a question faster than Dobbs.

Average Time To Ask A Question:
Greta: 2.3 seconds
Dobbs: 2.3 minutes

Number Of "Ums" Per Minute:
Greta: 0
Dobbs: 86

Sean Hannity could learn a few lessons there.  His questions are really very long statements of what he wants the guest to say, and then asking "wouldn't you agree"?  Horrible.

Greta never tried to make herself the focus, though I thought she her attempt to become "more personable" when she moved to the earlier time slot on FoxNews didn't really work.  I liked her very matter of fact, no-frills presentations at 10 p.m. or whenever it was.

It seems to me that Hannity wants to really be Rush Limbaugh but that chair is already filled. Also, Hannity is a parrot for the Republicans. If Trump had run as a Democrat, Hannity would have hated him.

Greta Van Susteren seems to be more of an enigma. In an age of narratives and "die on every hill" politics, she seems to be above the fray. She can cover a breaking story or grind out a political issue. In the end, I suspect everyone will dislike her because she doesn't always set her pike on their side.

From his first day on the air Sean Hannity has done nothing but copy from his buddy Neal Boortz and others.  I personally doubt he has ever had an original thought.
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

@Maj. Bill Martin

Not gonna give away his real age...but I do know that @Wingnut learned to ride a bike on one of these:

Sean and Neal have some definite differences, most notably on abortion.

Also, Sean would likely never do a stunt like Neal did years ago, when he
announced on the air that there's a new program to alleviate crowding at the polls:
They're asking Republicans to vote on Tuesday and Democrats to vote on Wednesday.
If all mankind minus one, were of one opinion, and only one person were of the contrary opinion,
mankind would be no more justified in silencing that one person, than he, if he had the power, would be justified in silencing mankind.
