This is silly. They will just go to Jersey or Connecticut or Pennsylvania to get their smokes.

Of course. This is why I hate to see cigarette taxes raised in my state. I've never been a smoker, but if folks from our neighboring states come here to buy them because of high taxes where they live, I'm sure not going to complain about the revenue.

The dirty little secret here is that liberals don't want to ban cigarettes outright.  They want smokers to keep smoking hoping they will die right before they turn 65.

No wonder they called for a crackdown on the sale of SINGLE cigarettes throughout NYC and the boroughs.

You could sell them for two bucks apiece.
