In other words, it is doing what Trump said he was going to do... So the people who voted for it are getting what they voted for...

Which is one of many reasons I couldn't vote for him.  The Democrats cannot wait to unload this pile of crap on somebody else, and Trump cannot wait to take credit for it.

Watching Hannity right now (which I rarely do).  I am blown away at the level of his stupidity.

He just cited a case where on individual through individual bargaining with providers was able to provide affordable concierge care for members of a group who are willing to pay monthly into this small group.  He then asks total sell-out Tom Price if the government can do the same thing.

Idiot.  The reason we have a problem to begin with is because individual bargaining has essentially been outlawed because of the very government oversight which Hannity is now pimping.

Just listening to these kapos infuriates the hell out of me.  We now have Republicans trying to save the very disaster the Democrats placed on us instead of letting it die.  Republicans are not our friend.

They are not part of the Uniparty Oligarchy without reason.

The Fedzilla is a Statist Beast that BOTH Parties are imposing upon everyone so as to enrich themselves in wealth and power and fundamentally transform the country into their image and likeness.

Obama's Marxists have their way - Republican Statists/Fascists have theirs.

BOTH Parties are a clear and present danger to Constitutional liberty, but like idiots, this people continue to make them their princes.
Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

    You need to UP your Blood Pressure medicine if you're watching Hannity @Hoodat

Nothing short of thorazine will help me at this point.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

I recall him ranting once several years ago about Amensty, and stated that if the GOP did not "Get on board with Amnesty" it would never win another election and he could never support them.

Now he worships  a fellow liberal NY Democrat whom supposedly wants to deport the very people Hannity said he wanted to grant amnesty to.

I'm convinced not a single politician or media stooge and lackey has any principles outside of what serves themselves best.

@corbe

Yesterday Dana Loesch speculated that Cruz might not get too involved because he's up for re-election in 2018.  Last I heard, he wasn't scheduled to participate in a presser with Rand Paul and Mike Lee.

So that's kind of interesting.
He already presented his plan clearly the leadership isn't interested. Not sure what people want him to do. The same people who criticize him for not doing enough now mocked him for his "grandstanding"; some folks just like to complain. Just my dos centavos.

The phasing out of the federal Medicaid subsidies is huge.  It basically kneecaps the left's effort to create a fourth new entitlement.  Not sure why that is being ignored by critics of this plan.

The political reality is that there are not 50 votes in the Senate to simply repeal the whole thing in one chunk.  Insistence on that would mean we'd end up with bupkis.

The only politically achievable way to get what conservatives ultimately want is a phased plan - dividing and conquering the opposition.

@Idaho_Cowboy

I'm not mocking him and neither was she.  She was giving a warning to people who will expect him to be out there, front and center.

Oh I know that. Didn't mean for it to sound that way.

     You are right on this one @TomSea (not being sarcastic), but your buddy @tedcruz is conspicuously absent on this, what gives?

IMHO he's staying away from this to insure none of the stink from this GOP proposal gets on him.

The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years. The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

I can understand the "between a rock and a hard place" position that Trump is in re: repealing Obamacare.  It would only be possible by completely and dangerously changing the rules of the game (like the rats always do).  It would set a dangerous precedent and make things really impossible for the right later on, to get anything passed.  Democracy/mob rule would reign.  I don't want that and neither does most Americans.  So what to do?  Let Obamacare alone and let it implode and die on its own?  How, with millions of Americans clamoring for Trump to 'fix' it?

I still don't like or trust him, but I do empathize with the position he's in.  I sure as hell don't envy him for it.
