I think that's true. But what is going to make me mad is if they AI the great actors thru the years...and put these images in crap movies. Of course the dead folks don't have an option. But I wonder if the younger actors can copyright themselves?
 There are a certain degree of personality rights that people have over their own name, image and likeness. Not that these AI companies care about personality rights or copyright. But as a company using these AI tools, they're bound to the same copyright and trademark laws as any other method of filmmaking.
But really, would it be much worse than what happened in real life to Bela Lugosi? Heck, if you inserted him into some AI slop film, it'd probably be BETTER than some of the films he actually did!
