She might be the Colonel of the House Democrats but there is a General Staff behind the scenes somewhere, and behind that, a very small group or even one person calling the general direction the seemingly chaotic herd at the bottom (on the streets and locally) is headed.All of those cogs work to promote the machine, and there are no coincidences, no (or very few) accidents, and defections are rare. Those who serve that will be rewarded, those who defect or defy it are to be destroyed--economically, politically, or even physically.
It is the inherent difference between the top-down (soviet) model of government and the more chaotic workings of a Republic that is on display, here and nothing more.
