House Republicans: Capitol Police Increasingly Viewing GOP as a ‘Threat’

Sean Moran 16 Feb 2022

House Republicans sent a letter to U.S. Capitol Police Inspector General Michael Bolton on Wednesday, noting that Republicans are increasingly being viewed as a “threat” rather than as lawmakers to be protected.

House Administration Committee Ranking Member Rodney Davis (R-IL), and Reps. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) and Bryan Steil (R-WI), two members of the House Administration Committee, wrote a letter to Bolton, cautioning them about the problems facing the U.S. Capitol Police (USCP).

The letter, obtained by Breitbart News, noted that the “majority of your [Bolton’s] recommendations have not been fully implemented, the Capitol remains in lockdown, and numerous developments have come to light regarding Capitol security.”

The lawmakers argued that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) “politicized campus security, fomenting distrust among Republicans and raising doubts among members as to the unbiased, impartial security decisions being made around the Capitol complex.”

Davis, Loudermilk, and Steil lambasted the USCP for treating Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX) as a threat rather than a lawmaker by surveilling his office and investigating his staff:

Quote
In November 2021, USCP officers entered the office of Rep. Troy Nehls, a former sheriff who has criticized department leadership, and took photographs of his legislative planning materials. Subsequently, USCP sent investigators to his office to question his staff as to the intent of the materials in question. None of these claims are disputed by Chief J. Thomas Manger’s response on this matter to the press. It is unacceptable that USCP officers took photographs of a Representative’s legislative planning materials and questioned his staff on the merits of these items. Not only does it potentially run afoul of Speech or Debate Clause protections for Members, it is yet another example of Members being treated as the threat rather than as duly elected Representatives in Congress, here to perform their constitutional duty to serve their constituents.

Now these reps know how the general public is treated by LEOs. A hammer sees everything as a nail and pigs see everyone as a criminal. That's why the defund the police movement was started. Pigs in general don't know the laws they are entrusted to enforce. They are not trained properly.

How odd that a heavily infiltrated law enforcement and justice department that could find no fault in the democrat party acting as active participants in overthrowing President Trump and government as an open acts of Treason, they found no fault in.  Yet as democrats and accomplices sought to set up a one rule government using Jan 6th, they were up to their eye balls in, they still seek to blame Republicans and the American people for.  This crap never ends as long as democrats can find a large enough supply of the willfully blind, useful fools, village idiots to aid and abet them.

For purposes of clarity, who exactly are you calling “pigs”?

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
If any investigation of impropriety, makes the Capitol Hill Police see the GOP as a threat, then that is telling indeed.

After all, If you are innocent, you have nothing to worry about, right?

But between inciting a crowd by firing gas and tossing flashbangs into it, pulling aside barricades and opening doors to horde of the "insurrection" (their word, not mine), beating a protester to death, shooting an unarmed woman, and generally claiming they, themselves, were the victims, there just might be enough criminal activity on the part of the Capitol Hill Police to merit scrutiny, charges, and trials, and definitely enough to question the en bloc "heroism" bandied about. (There may well have been genuine individual heroic acts, but we've been denied full access to the video, at least most of the 14,000 hours of it.)

That does not even go into questioning the communication between the higher-ups and the Speaker of the House, the Sargent at Arms, and others who may have colluded with members of the DOJ or other agencies or officers of the US or Washington D.C. City Governments or the Democrat Party to propel the entire event into the willing and hyperbolic newsfeeds of the Leftist Propaganda media (formerly "mainstream" media (MSM), but with their ratings, that would have to be a misnomer) for the purposes of (once again) defaming and denigrating political opponents, and trying to find a way to render the person they'd stolen the election from unable to run again in the future.

Well, you Democrats (read: Communist, totalitarian, Rat-bastards.),  we all (at least who were paying attention) see what you pulled here. You had your very own Reichstag Fire without even setting off a smoke alarm.

As for the Kabuki, go on, waste resources "investigating" ordinary people, tracking their communications, listening in on Auntie Tilly's cinnamon frybread recipe, ironically pulling a Lincoln, locking up political opponents on the basis of suspicion like Lincoln did across Maryland in 1861, but just remember, the more resources you waste chasing after ordinary working folks who are just in serious and outspoken disagreement with your own criminal activity, the better chance some real threat will 'gitcha'--but not the boogeymen you are chasing who are actually people who just love their Constitution and Country, and who aren't happy with what you vile shitb*rds are doing to both, but somehow cling to the hope that these differences can be worked out within the framework of the Constitution and the Law.

If being known for what you are, if your illegal activities are being sussed out and exposed, and each little tidbit brings you closer to the sound of an unlatching trapdoor at the end of the trip for treason, then go ahead and feel threatened.  Maybe you'd all better cut that deal and bring this all out into the light before your own prosecution is unavoidable.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Looks like The Capitol now has its own version of a Praetorian Guard.

Or... a more modern-day Stasi...

This is so much like how the socialist/Commie Nazis of Germany of last century, get entrenched into our society.  They expect the tyranny tactics of last century to be effective this century.  Yet much of it has already been exposed already for what it is.

Our society turned away from God, phony separation of church and State, turned away from patriotism, much more in favor of Communist-socialism, turned away from family unit-values.  Remember they turned to jihad terrorist 9-11 and so much more, rioters, open terrorism burning down cities, cursing God, praising jihadists and cults.  So wheres the mystery of where we went wrong? ? ?
