Ohio parents launch anti-CRT initiative, private school retaliates by expelling their students
July 3, 2021 | Jon Dougherty
A private school in Ohio has expelled three students after their mothers launched an initiative to push back against the inclusion of the highly controversial and ethnicity-based Critical Race Theory curriculum.
Administrators at the Columbus Academy, where tuition can be as much as $30,000 per year, sent letters to Andrea Gross and Amy Gonzalez, two parents, informing them their kids won’t be permitted back at the school, Fox News reported Friday.
In the letters, school officials accused the mothers of “false and misleading attacks” on the institution, which includes K-12 grade, and its leaders via an “inflammatory” crusade that included making erroneous statements about students being exposed to bomb-sniffing dogs while on campus.
