Democrats Poised for Complete Dominance in the West
 


    SAMMAMISH, Wash. — It is the stuff of liberal fantasies: a vast, defiant territory, sweeping along the country’s Pacific coastline, governed by Democrats and resisting President Trump at every turn.

    A single election in a wealthy Seattle suburb on Tuesday could make that scenario a reality, handing the party full control of government in Washington State — and extinguishing Republicans’ last fragile claim on power on the West Coast. The region has been a rare Democratic stronghold on an electoral map now dominated by vast swaths of red, and Republicans’ only toehold on power there has been a one-seat majority in the Washington State Senate.

Sadly, the entire Pacific coast is going to have to be eventually "written off" from America, if the central core of the country wants to survive -as- "America".

Perhaps the same for the New England states.

No nation lasts forever.
Borders change.
Populations change (as ours is "changing" now).
Governments change.

Perhaps the old "Ann Landers question" should be considered:
Would "traditional America" be better off with the west coastal states -- or WITHOUT them...?

Bleh. This is nothing but the NY Slimes pimping some inconsequential election as meaningful because truth be told, the Rats are finished. Even if these three states start their own cooperative, there are limits to them doing jack shit because of their reliance on the Federal govt'. States rights isn't in their lexicon.
