U.S. Withdraws Funding for U.N. Population Fund

http://freebeacon.com/issues/u-s-withdraws-funding-u-n-population-fund/

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) – The State Department said on Monday it was ending U.S. funding for the United Nations Population Fund, the international body's agency focused on family planning as well as maternal and child health in more than 150 countries.

In a letter to U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Bob Corker, the State Department said it was dropping the funding because the U.N. Population Fund (UNFPA) "supports, or participates in the management of, a program of coercive abortion or involuntary sterilization."

The cut marks U.S. President Donald Trump's first move to curtail funding for the United Nations and is likely to raise further questions about how deep those cuts will eventually go throughout the organization, where the United States is the top donor.

That's great news.  It's always a good day when one more corrupt world organization stops getting my taxpayer money.

Now if we could just find a way to cut off ALL funding to the U.N.

The fact that this came from  the State Department is interesting. At one time I got the daily press briefing from State in my email (to keep up with their lies).

I may sign up again to keep up with what is going on.

Let's not forget Vice President Mike Pence, one of the most accomplished Pro-Life politicians in the US.

YEEEEE HAWWWWW!! Now let's cut the rest of the funding.
“The way I see it, every time a man gets up in the morning he starts his life over. Sure, the bills are there to pay, and the job is there to do, but you don't have to stay in a pattern. You can always start over, saddle a fresh horse and take another trail.” ― Louis L'Amour

I forget, is the U.N. Population Fund the one that advocates genocide in order to save the planet, or is that a different U.N. fund?

I thought that was the purpose of the UN as a whole?

I will put this one on the Good Trump list.  We need to defund the UN completely and send them packing.  Genocide and rape of little girls.  Scandals, scandals.  Over and over again.
AG William Barr: "I'm recused from that matter because one of the law firms that represented Epstein long ago was a firm that I subsequently joined for a period of time."

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

Little victories (with apologies to Bob Seger).

Take 'em wherever you can get 'em.

This sets the precedent to De-fund the next UN agency and then the next.  Until the UN is no more...

So many things we forced upon in this world are not what they appear to be at all.  Most often they are exactly the opposite of what they are advertised to be.  It's the old In Theory vs In Practice.

In Theory the EPA is good for the environment -  In Practice not so much.

In Theory the FDA protects us from rotten products -  In Practice not so much.

In Theory the UN is a peace keeping body -  In Practice not so much.
