Only thirteen percent of Americans said they would consider President Trump to be honest and trustworthy, according to a new Survey Monkey tracking poll.
Trump's honesty and trustworthiness score is down 3 points from when Survey Monkey started conducting the tracking polls in February of 2017.

13% of Americans are frighteningly stupid.

At least, he's not talking about being pro-life and it being only talk.

Under Trump, historic lows for unemployment among blacks and Hispanics, some are definitely missing in action on commenting on things such as this. Pretty strange when some put so much emphasis on racism, isn't it? @Once-Ler ???
Or one can look at the great achievements of the Constipation party? BWAHAHAA

Something in the corner is stinking pretty badly. Oh, LOOK! It's a red herring @TomSea dragged in, totally irrelevant to the topic: how an unbelievably high number of 13 percent can consider President Trump honest and trustworthy when he himself has admitted he's nor and demonstrates it daily.
-
It's really that high??
Apparently this site has more than its fair share of that 13%... :whistle:
-
Troll, much?? *****rollingeyes*****
He's forced to quote Survey Monkey :laugh:
@DCPatriot
-
13% does seem low to me. A Quinnipiac poll (of over 1,000 people via landlines and cell phones) from earlier this month found that 58% said the President was not honest while 38% said he was. I would suspect that 38% represents much of his base, who I think believe virtually everything he says or just ignore/don't care about the things he says that are demonstrably false.

@TomSea
You okay?

He is a serial liar and that won't/can't change; it is who he is. When you study his life, you find this behavior. Again, it is who he is.

Gee, I wonder why you've not told us this before. 88devil

Anyone surprised? Real estate developers are even less trustworthy than lawyers. Again I am surprised its is as high as 13.
OTOH, incredibly he is still more trustworthy than Hillary. Just shows how screwed we were for the 2016 POTUS election.
-
Survey Monkey is just internet driven. Non-scientific.
Funny, because Rush was using their latest polls on the Senate races yesterday to say how much trouble Dems are in this fall.

Hillary would have been much better right @Once-Ler?

@jpsb
Old, broke down, obsolete, doesn’t matter anymore. Time to pack that one away.
-
What we need here is a little perspective.
How many Americans consider congress honest & trustworthy? The media? The courts? The police? Billy Mays?
Frankly I'm surprised Trump's numbers are still in double digits, consider its been 18 months of non-stop media slamming.
-

I trust Billy Mays about Oxy-Clean. Right now, his bones are really white.
-
Have they called any of you? I haven't been called. They know exactly who and when to call in order to get the result they seek! This crap is meaningless!

Survey Monkey doesn't call, it's internet. The sample is 100% self-selecting.

Troll, much?? *****rollingeyes*****
The trolling on Trump goes both ways. The posters who stoke it have no cause for complaint when it happens to them.
-
Just because it' Survey Monkey doesn't mean the results don't have an element of truth. The actual number may not be accurate but the sentiment that it represents could be.
Ask yourself if you would invest your entire life savings with D.J.Trump? Not as POTUS, but as a real estate investor and entrepreneur.
It doesn't mean I don't like what he is doing as president. He has certainly followed through with his campaign promises. That is honest and trustworthy. But I don't personally trust him. I fear he would take my money, line his own pockets, and lawyer up, daring me to try to get my money back.
Just my $0.02

I didn't trust the used car salesman either.
Reagan and Bush (both) are probable the only truly trustworthy presidents in my lifetime.

@jpsb
Old, broke down, obsolete, doesn’t matter anymore. Time to pack that one away.
You don't get it, @CatherineofAragon ......
Because Hillary would have been worse (she would have), then we are supposed to get rid of every standard of character and behavior we ever had and embrace Trump as Messiah.
Get it now??

Yup.

I'll go with you on Reagan. He was one of us.
-
I know! I was feebly trying to make a point.
Just taking your six, Bro....
-
Even his biggest fans should say he isn't honest because he brags about being a liar and using that as a negotiating strategy in The Art of the Deal.
If they say he is honest, then they are calling him a liar.
I've only seen a few at least make the leap to say something Al ng the lines of "yes he is a liar, but he is our liar, doing what he needs to do for the deal'.

If I recall, that was exactly what the vast majority was saying about his statements regarding North Korea. Very few (none?) defending them all as being true. They were defended on the grounds that they were buttering up/B.S. intended to change the tone of the relationship.
-
He is a serial liar and that won't/can't change; it is who he is. When you study his life, you find this behavior. Again, it is who he is.
Soooo, you've studied his life. Maybe another hobby might work better for you?

Thanks, @catfish1957 Some of us don't dare to bring Hillary in the equation because it's forbidden.
People who accuse Trump of lying are mostly talking about his tendency to bloviate at times. And sometimes he says something overly optimistic. As far as actual, meaningful lies, I would put him in the middle of the political pack but no worse.
-
Apparently this site has more than its fair share of that 13%... :whistle:
The 13% thing is a joke. Trump was elected and not by people who thought he was a liar. This was posted to get a rise out of people by someone who is apparently bored today.
-

Give em' a break he just thought he saw that old horse move.

I don't think it's forbidden, it's just an old horse that's been beat so much even the hooves and shoes are dust.
-
Hillary would have been much better right @Once-Ler?
@jpsb
Hillary's suck does not make Trump's suck less.

It's a poll. I don't trust the honesty or trustworthiness of the poll.

Ad nauseam, I'm sure.
It's their 'best' argument to get us to give up our moral standards.
-
So? He’s a politician. For anybody who knows who Kimberly Hahn is, I no longer trust her either. She ran for council at large and won. I no longer consider her a credible source for anything. That’s just me :shrug:
-
Reagan and Bush (both) are probable the only truly trustworthy presidents in my lifetime.
@Just_Victor
I'm not trying to ruin your reputation by proxy, or damn you with effusive praise, but I couldn't agree more. I really love Reagan, Bush, and Dubya and I think the world is better for their leadership. :seeya:
-
I don't think it's forbidden, it's just an old horse that's been beat so much even the hooves and shoes are dust.
Maybe, but that Hillary horse is still riding around town trying to work up followers for 2020.
I think it's always worthwhile to put in a little reminder about what we escaped while we're having so much fun trashing Trump.
-
Ad nauseam, I'm sure.
It's their 'best' argument to get us to give up our moral standards.
It's not our best argument, ladies, but is a valid reality. I hope you cling to your moral standards with all your heart.

Nobody you argue with disagrees that Hillary was a bad candidate. You want credit for picking the best shitty choice. Sleep awhile you must be tired. Maybe your morality will be stronger in the morning.

I don't argue @Once-Ler I state my opinion. Your post is an affront to any sensible person.
My morality is fine, but yours ... not so much since you resort to phrases like "You want credit for picking the best s***ty choice. I don't appreciate profanity but I guess it's all you got.

Profanity can be more easily found amongst Orange Brigadiers posting on TBR, though I agree with you that profanity should not be found on TBR. I consider myself a "sensible person", and found @Once-Ler 's post to not cross too far into affrontery. 888high58888

Well, @Night Hides Not ... how about @Once-Ler 's assertion that Trump is only marginally better than Hillary? Or, as he would so elegantly put it, Marginally less sh**ty.

It is debatable that profanity is more rampant among Trump supporters. I don't believe it, myself.
And anyone who resorts to terms like "Orange Brigadiers" should rethink his or her vocabulary.
-
What in the Rochester does this have to do with Cheney?
Bush's VP, Cheney tries to murder his hunting partner and then there's the whole Halliburton thing makes Bush dishonest and untrustworthy. Bush uses vulgarity on film, just like Trump = Trump dishonest and untrustworthy.
See? It's very simple.

Survey Monkey is just internet driven. Non-scientific.
Ok, lets drop the poll down to one person, Trump's wife Melania. Does she think he is honest and trustworthy?
BTW..The answer only shows me if she is honest and trustworthy. I know the answer to the other, heck we all know the answer if we are being truthful ourselves.
-
Maybe, but that Hillary horse is still riding around town trying to work up followers for 2020.
I think it's always worthwhile to put in a little reminder about what we escaped while we're having so much fun trashing Trump.
So you gonna keep up with that bugga boo? Oh boo hoo, someone holds a different opinion than you about Trump, are your convictions, your opinion of Trump so feeble that you can't tolerate it? For criminy sakes, this is America, it's actually allowed you know?
-

No worries @Once-Ler. I pretty much like everyone here. If I sit down and go issue by issue through the problems we face as a country, I'll bet I'd be hard pressed to find anyone that I agree with less than 75% of the time.
We spend a lot of energy bickering about minutia.
-
It's not our best argument, ladies, but is a valid reality. I hope you cling to your moral standards with all your heart.
I wouldn’t expect that you would be one to mock people for maintaining moral standards, and yet here you are......
Your devotion to Trump has changed you.
Sad.

@GtHawk
Yes, it’ll be kept up. Some conservatives just can’t quit Hillary Clinton. That worn-out, run-down, put-out-to-pasture old joke lives in their minds as some kind of all- powerful demon. They probably check under their beds for her.
Sometimes I wonder if it’s because they had fun hating her during the nineties, and it’s just an odd nostalgia for those days.
-
And look what a dick he turned out to be.
IMO the country would be far better off today had there been another dick in the last election..
