More long term damage of what happens when the 44th POTUS was Muslim.

The liberal media has been hands off regarding Barron. Conservative  media regarding democrat presidents pre 18 year old kids kids? Not so much.

This hypocrisy is exactly why I have become an independent.

Your penchant for defending the ultra left makes me laugh at your assertion of being an Indy.  I'd guess you are just slightly right of Bernie Sanders.

That's crap.  I remember when some SNL writer tweeted something horrible about him when. He was only ten.  The View took a shot at him as well.

Depending on content/guest, I occasionally watch Rogan's.  He's a good point of reference of one of our political opponents that at least is rational...

On the off beat side, and depending on guest, I like to watch "Hot Ones".  Nothing like seeing how an interviewee responds after eating a 2 million Scoville Hot Wing. Guy is good with his questioning too.

p.s.....

Did a parse of 200 top podcasts....  Here are how Conservatives fared. (May 11th update)

Ben Shapiro- 12
Megyn Kelly (semi-right) - 19
Dan Bongino- 27
Charlie Kirk- 50
Matt Walsh- 54
Vivek Ramaswamy- 71
Tucker Carlson- 73 *
Glenn Beck- 88
Steve Bannon- 96
Mark Levin- 141

*-
Was shocked that Tucker's rankings were so poor.  Not sure this is a function of his decline, or whether his views on Twitter isn't counted in the metrics.

I suppose that now he is 18, TBR trolls can shit on him because of who his father is.

The liberal media has been hands off regarding Barron. Conservative  media regarding democrat presidents pre 18 year old kids kids? Not so much.

Rush Limbaugh skewered Chelsea Clinton when she  was a young girl,  You and I both know it.  He was brutal towards her looks. I have seen Freepers say the most vile things  about the Obama girls before they were 18. References to ghetto trash, their looks, how they dress like sluts, the ones daughters  homely looks etc.

Conservatives have always had a double standard.  They skewered Clinton over his adultery etc but give Trump a pass/totally ignore his indiscretions. If Clinton was married 3 times Limbaugh and conservative media would have had a field day over it and you know it.

This hypocrisy is exactly why I have become an independent.

PETRAEUS: CONFLICT REQUIRES STRONG STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP

Fri, 05/10/2024 - 07:25
In his new book, retired Gen. David Petraeus explores the evolution of selected conflicts between World War II and the ongoing fights in Ukraine and Gaza and lays out the importance of military strategic leadership.

During a webinar hosted May 9 by the Association of the U.S. Army as part of its Noon Report series, Petraeus points out that conflict begins with political strategic leadership that must be executed with strong military strategic leadership, beginning with four tasks.

“First, you have to get the big ideas right, you have to craft the right strategy, you have to really understand the context,” Petraeus said, explaining that the context is what is present in your own forces, enemy forces, in human and physical terrain and the elements of society and neighborhoods.

Next, the strategy’s big ideas must be communicated throughout an organization and to others who have a stake in the outcome of the conflict. Once the big idea is communicated, a strategic leader must oversee its implementation.

Because why not? It's not like nurses have anything better to do than act as cocktail waitresses.

San Francisco buys vodka shots for homeless alcoholics in taxpayer-funded program
San Francisco health officials say a program that provides alcohol to homeless alcoholics prevents the city's most vulnerable from using emergency services

The City of San Francisco is providing free beer and vodka shots to homeless alcoholics at taxpayer expense under a little-known pilot program.

The "Managed Alcohol Program" operated by San Francisco's Department of Public Health serves regimented doses of alcohol to voluntary participants with alcohol addiction in an effort to keep the homeless off the streets and relieve the city's emergency services. Experts say the program can save or extend lives, but critics wonder if the government would be better off funding treatment and sobriety programs instead. ...

The San Francisco managed alcohol program, or MAP, was established during the COVID-19 pandemic to prevent vulnerable homeless people who were placed in isolation in hotel rooms from suffering from alcohol withdrawal. But the program, which started with 10 beds, has since been expanded into a 20-bed program that operates out of a former hotel in Tenderloin with a $5 million annual budget, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

Alice Moughamian, the Nurse Manger of the Managed Alcohol Program and the San Francisco Sobering Center, explained in an October presentation that nurses provide clients with a motel room, three meals a day, and enough alcohol "to meet their addiction needs, but keeping someone at a safe level of intoxication."  ...
