Three years into Operation Lone Star, Texas sheriff highlights successes

The group includes law enforcement officers from roughly 30 agencies in nearly 20 counties dedicated to stopping cartel-related trafficking and smuggling operations.

Three years into Texas’ border security mission, Operation Lone Star, a Texas sheriff is highlighting the successful efforts of his deputies, who have been involved in a multi-county operation committed to combating cartel-related crime.

Retiring Jackson County Sheriff Kelly Janica was a founding member of an Operation Lone Star Task Force headed up by Goliad Sheriff Roy Boyd. Janica, who came out of semi-retirement to fill an open sheriff’s seat in December 2021, soon joined Boyd’s OLS task force. The group includes law enforcement officers from roughly 30 agencies in nearly 20 counties dedicated to stopping cartel-related trafficking and smuggling operations.

“We send these men and women into harm's way every day,” Janica said in a video his office put together to educate county residents, and Texans, about the successes and dangerous work of the task force. The video depicts deputies involved in thwarting cartel-related criminal activity, and engaged in high-speed car chases and bailouts. Accompanying it is audio from part of a 2017 Liberty University commencement speech given by former President Donald Trump. In it, he encourages graduates, and Americans, to “never, ever give up.”

Here’s What Trump Should Do Now to Win the Debates Before They Happen

When Joe Biden released a 14 second video with 5 edits in it declaring how he wants to debate Donald Trump twice, my first thought was how pathetic is it that he can’t get through a few lines without needing multiple takes and heavy editing. My next thought was Trump should take him up on the offer, which he did. Then, I had another thought, a better thought. Something that I believe will help Donald Trump immeasurably.

The Biden campaign wants two debates, one in June and the other in September, both well ahead of the November election, which is odd. They say it’s because of early voting, but there’s more to it than that.

If Biden soils the sheets in a June debate, that gives Democrats plenty of time to find a new nominee before their convention in August. If Biden drops out before being officially nominated there is no need for lawsuits to change ballots, it’s all nice and clean.

As for the September date, there’s still plenty of time to distract voters from a failed performance.

More than that, however, this proposal opens up a big opportunity for the Trump campaign. They’d have to wait until everything is settled and all debate points are agreed upon, if only to make it impossible for Biden to back out without having to go against what his campaign would have said publicly. But once that happens, Trump should challenge Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to a series of debate.

El Dorado isn't far from me, I used to practice archery there fifty years ago. I used to take my kids and grandkids there, it is in Long Beach, CA...LA County, and home to numerous gangs and a lot of it is a no go for me as the gang territory keeps expanding.

It is quite possible that this kid was just part of a youth or church group trying to do something good, but gangs get very upset when you cover up their signs, along with the fact they have no respect for human life.

China is rapidly moving into renewable energy-more than all countries in the world combined.. Yes they are building coal plants left and right but many are not used rm use very little. Due to past droughts they lost their huge source of  hydro power They know they have a serious pollution problem.
Coal is also very expensive to China because of shipping from US and Australia. They also do not want to be dependent on us when war comes between our countries.

Childish stance?  Do you have any idea how much this scam is going to cost America?  Your silly contention that this is an emergency is garbage.  So unless you can control sunspots, El-Nina, El-Nino, and other natural factors, your are help ruining the U.S. economy, and might just take us back technologically to the 1800's.  Do you think 350M Americans can surivie with 1800's tech?

My advise to you, is to date Greta T.  I think she is legal now .Or buy some seaside property next to Obama. This doesn't seem to be impacting their real estate buying habits.
