One of the most appealing pieces from "MY Fair Lady". Oh, Poor Freddy, but he sure dresses well.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I57BVLgtUvk
Excellent choices, DCPatriot, and I am quite glad you started a thread devoted to show tunes. For my first contribution I am going all the way back to the 50s and this piece from "Carousel" a song I not only enjoy for itself but which also brings back pleasant memories for me as did the Tommy Edwards' songs you added. And, yes, that is a very young Shirley Jones (Julie).http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApYDhnedlmI

One of my favorites and the movie was as good or better than the Broadway play:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPFKMco8AL0
What I loved about the movie was the minimalist sets, making it feel almost like you were seeing it on stage. Loved the movie. But I saw it in 2001 in NYC on stage and absolutely loved that production as well. The cast was amazing.
