Had a cat names Midnight, that was convinced he was a dog. Fetched and sat on command.

8 years ago tonight Maxwell Smart Passed away with Linda and me by his side. He was A great companion and friend. Max was super smart and he will be missed. Max RIP buddy:  July 13 2006 - January 4 2015

He had been sick for a few weeks and was very weak and would only go out to pee. On his last night  he was in bed with us when he suddenly jumped up, went to the end of the bed and fell off.  I grabbed him off the floor and put him back in our bed. He laid there and had a bowel movement.  I picked him up and set him on the floor as we cleaned up the bed.  We placed him back on the bed and he took his last breathes and passed away.

We had a fetching cat too. His name was Smoocher. He was such a sweetheart.

@Kamaji

I wouldn't say that. How many co-workers have you ever had that would always bring a smile to your face and add a little joy to your heart?

"Bringing home da bacon!"

GOOD dog!

ROTFLMAO!!
Yeah... I was just wondering to myself if that behavior could be encouraged... That is a useful training direction.  :whistle:

Gotta teach him to bust into the smoker though... and bring em home already done...  :laugh:
