Well, a dog, but I agree with the point. Two dogs would be even better.  :yowsa:

No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

I was just thinking about my Chesapeake retriever puppy that mysteriously dissappeared in the early 70's.

A young couple wanted to buy the lot next to my parents, and the owner wouldn't sell it without my family approving. Since the wife was from a local family,my parents approved of the sale.

I even went next door and helped them put a well and water pump in.

Then one day the husband decided to sell one of my father's work boats because he decided it was parked on his property, thus making it his. Nobody bothered to explain to this retard that property lines don't always run straight, and even if the boat WAS on his  property, that didn't give him the right to sell it.

I was working out of town at the time, and only coming home on weekends,so that weekend I came home, heard what had happened, and walked next door to explain how some terribly painful things were going to happen to him if my father's boat and trailer weren't returned by the following weekend.

They were, but a For Sale sign went up in their yard. A week or two later they both disappeared one day without telling anyone I knew where they were going. Or at least nobody would tell me where they went, anyway.

That same day my Chesapeak puppy, who was insanely friendly and completely non-aggressive,went missing. Rumors had it that Charles killed the puppy to get even with me for threatening him.

Nobody would tell me where they were for sure, but some people said Florida, and some people said Florida.

I have been thinking all day that I now have the money and the time to make a trip,if I only knew where to go.

Maybe that makes me a bad person.

Not that I give a squat.
