We have a sheltie, and the amount of hair we get out of her on a regular basis would probably be enough for us to knit a family-set of sweaters for the three of us.

Chewy sheds a ton. Way more than a Malamute 3/4ths of the year... It's just that 6 weeks in the spring, but boy oh boy do they shed then.

About the same thing... I don't like Samoyeds as well. All Husky breeds are vocal, but Samoyeds bark their fool heads off. Wouldn't have one.

But I DO miss a Malamute talking to me. Chewy does that some, but nothing like my others.
