Since these drones obviously didn't fly here from Europe, and there don't seem to be any mother ships off the coast, it seems these are launched from America.  Since the Biden administration either won't, or is reluctant, to shoot them down, I have to wonder if they aren't government issue spying on Americans and flying over military bases as a cover for what they are actually doing,

Why could they not be dropped off by a large plane or simply a balloon?

Could be thousands dropped in no time at all and controlled by the thousands of Chinese who came across the border.

Perhaps that is a precise and narrow interpretation of the matter but I can assure you, if elements within our vast national security complex expressed threat concerns to the Commander in Chief (shhh… he’s asleep), the order would go out to bring the UAV’s down.
