Great. I just don't understand what statement you were trying to make.

Funny, I understood it perfectly.

When Joe Biden was on the ticket, an old two-story home in my nearby town had very large flags that said F*** Joe Biden unfurled and tacked to the house. They were huge with full spelling commercially produced. Mrs. L and I stopped for a moment to look at the display.  A woman came out and looked at us. We moved along.  The flags were soon down but what a terrible look.

Agree.  It's one thing to play slap ass on a political forum, and another to put up billboards with the worst of obscenities.

Not a good look for us.

I miss the ol' days when uptight Senators' wives were upset by heavy metal's corruption of the youths.  It was the subliminal Satanic lyrics that brainwashed me into registering as a Republican.

Now, Americans are ready to start another civil war over whether toilet paper is dispensed from the top of the roll or the bottom of the roll.  Martha Stewart, our lonley nation turns its eyes toward you.  Woo.  Woo.  Woo.

Maybe poll workers recognized that wearing a ratty ball cap with two dead guys on it isn't the same as wearing the actual campaign gear of people actually running?

@Weird Tolkienish Figure

Probably so, but what's the point of testing it? If it had gone the other way, was it worth it to set off a situation in an already potentially charged venue?

Then you should have the courtesy to explain it to anyone who doesn't.

I don't understand people who insist that the world revolves around them, their wants and their insistence on making a "statement" when we all must live in a civilized society. There come certain reasonable responsibilities with living among others. At the top of my list is protecting children from adults who are acting like jackasses. Grant the kids freedom from the muck and mire for the first years of their lives. They'll have to find out soon enough. Just allow their early years to be carefree.

I really hate when the right looks as smarmy as the left. I don't want to play in their sewer, so I'm embarrassed when my side chooses to.

Actually, those were the days when massive angst and anger was generated by Coca-Cola changing its recipe.  Massive.

So, it’s good if we are so spoiled we fight over toilet paper.  I’d like that back.  People are fighting over pronouns now.

And guess why we are now?  Yup, I’m going there.  Someone prominent gave them inspiration.

Recall the TEA Party.  Just a short while back.  Finally conservatives standing up publicly, but it was known to be docile and respectful and clean.  My cancer-ridden sister and our dad together went to the Glenn Beck Tea Party with her 2 twin girls and she said it was so nice, and so CLEAN when they all were leaving.

After 2016, things got much coarser and more untenable on our side. I already mentioned the flags like this, on public interstates.  People like this in the polls.  Jan 6.  Latter is overall a joke, I know, but never would such a thing ever happen before this, and you see how it’s given the Left something to harp on constantly (while they have 50 years of constant riots) and use.

If this is wildly seen, I look at in the respect having to explain that to my grandchildren if I drive by.

Let's not stoop publicly to that level.  That's what we got TBR for to vent our anger

So, Trump supporters will be forced to wear an orange middle-finger patch on their clothes to identify them?  I think they'd be cool with that or an orange FJB patch.

Trump supporters are not known for being shrinking violets.

Liberal wants Trump supporters to be branded in public to warn others

Where have we seen this before….

These are the people who called us fascists and a threat to Democracy

The history book on the shelf is always repeating itself.

They are not mutually exclusive.

Dems,

Get off my lawn.  Stay off my lawn.  I'll grow tall fescue if I want to.
,
Stop trying to take my stuff.  Ill give up my propane grill when Al Gore and John Kerry give up their private jets.

Stop trying to take away my choices.  I don't mind having an option to buy an Electric Vehicle, but I still want the option to buy an ICE vehicle.  In New England, we have high electricity prices, hills, and Winter - things hostile to the economy and utility of EV's.

There are things that cause more net harm than farts, belches, and poop - like useless elites living in multiple large homes and flying private jets.  Poop can be used as fertilizer.  There is no use for Al Gore and John Kerry.
