This is really upsetting..My now 18yo grandson is autistic among other things..he was non-verbal until he was 6...thanks to many caring and devoted care workers he is able to speak...

My middle  son, who will turn 28 on April 16 by the way, is also  autistic and he would not know how to defend himself if somebody was beating him like this.

He’s not entirely nonverbal as he can tell us what he wants, but he would never point out somebody who was abusing him
