One-fifth of adults believe that violence may be necessary to get the United States “back on track,” a poll found.

The NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll, conducted March 25-28, found a significant number of Americans were open to violence to achieve political goals, though the large majority, 79%, rejected it. Of the 20% who agreed, 6% did so strongly.

Results were heavily split among political, racial, geographic, age, and income lines.

More Democrats than Republicans strongly agreed that violence may be necessary, at 7% compared to 5%. However, a much larger percentage of Republicans, 22%, simply agreed with the premise, compared to just 5% of Democrats. Independents were more likely than Democrats to agree with the possible necessity of violence, at 18% overall.

A much larger percentage of Democrats also strongly disagreed with the use of violence, at 65%, than Republicans, at just 30%.

Among racial lines, black and Latino respondents were much more likely to agree or strongly agree with the possible use of political violence, at 25% and 27% respectively. In contrast, only 17% of white people agreed or strongly agreed.

Violence is always necessary. Always. Liberty is forged in violence, wrested always from the usurpers. Peace is always an illusion, maintained by rough men beneath the view of society. By violence.

There was a time when "tearing the country apart" was a notion that was viewed with horror. How could one be for this?

But today, in these Divided States of America, with two diametrically-opposed sides that cannot and will never be reconciled -- could one be for it?

Looks like it's time. It's the only way ahead for white, traditionally-minded Americans of Euro-Christian background. Those in control of the blue states and who control the DCommunist government HATE you, and support those who would do harm to you.

The only way to get free of their determination to create an American communist state, is to separate from them.

Does anyone here remember the old television series from the 80's named "Centennial"? Based on the James Michener book about the founding of a small town in Colorado?

In what was one of the best episodes, Levi Zendt, a Mennonite from Pennsylvania, "sees the elephant" while enroute through the Colorado territory. He can't continue, and (I believe one of his oxen dies) his only option is to literally "saw his Conestoga wagon in half", turning around with the remaining half and heading back east.

He travels a short way, then decides with his wife to just try to make it where he was -- the founder of what was to become the eventual town.

Told you that to tell you this:
America is "facing the elephant" -- the elephant of communism.
Do we continue traveling that path, or...
... do we turn towards another...?

It may be time to take Levi Zendt's saw, and do some sawin' of our own.

Is it time for that new Heartland Continental Congress yet...?

  • I think, therefore I am... a misfit!
There is a 99.9% chance that there will be another Civil War within one year.
The "Democrats" have already been committing violence for the last several years
to drive the country OFF course.
I predict that the R party will win this year's election by a wide enough margin
that it will be impossible to steal again.
The "Democrats" will find a way (probably violent) to stay in power.
The "Democrats" will (as always) be the aggressors in the violence.
The rest of us will be acting in self-defense.
And the "news" media will lie about it all.
If all mankind minus one, were of one opinion, and only one person were of the contrary opinion,
mankind would be no more justified in silencing that one person, than he, if he had the power, would be justified in silencing mankind.
