I have drilled through time and examined its leavings in a dozen provinces in eight states, and examined it's footprints wherever I go. It is a rich story, fraught with change and cataclysm, and for that reason I am ever aggrieved at the consternation of such a short lived species as our own over changes that occupy less than a heartbeat of geologic time.
