Republicans’ second impeachment hearing to showcase Biden family ‘scam’

House Republicans will hold their second public impeachment inquiry hearing on Wednesday as they press forward with examining whether Joe Biden used his political influence as vice president to help his family profit.

The House Oversight Committee will host the hearing, titled “Influence Peddling: Examining Joe Biden’s Abuse of Public Office,” at 10 a.m. on Capitol Hill.

The Bidens “do not work as consultants or lawyers or advisers. The Bidens don’t sell a product or a service or a set of skills. The Bidens sell Joe Biden,” committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) plans to say at the hearing, according to excerpts of his opening remarks obtained by the Washington Examiner.

“The scam is simple. The Biden family promises they can make a foreign partner’s problems go away by engaging the U.S. government,” Comer will say.

As Bobulinski points out, numerous people including Hunter Biden did respond to the email. That left Goldman stammering as he then tried to spin a new conspiracy theory: That the Biden family was actually standing against the corruption being pushed by Hunter Biden's business associates.

The problem for Goldman is that he's left arguing every single person around the Bidens was corrupt except Joe and Hunter Biden. That's not a narrative that washes. Upstanding people do not surround themselves with corrupt people, and the fact that the DOJ has chosen to prosecute numerous business associates of the Biden's is evidence of selective bias, not innocence on the part of the president and his son.

For example, Goldman and his cohorts want you to believe that someone like Gal Luft has been discredited for being prosecuted for FARA violations when Hunter Biden allegedly did the exact same thing regarding his interactions with CEFC China.
