John Barrasso says ‘free money’ enticing illegal immigrants will come to ‘screeching halt’ under Trump

Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY) stated Sunday that former President Donald Trump will stop welcoming illegal immigrants to the United States should he become president again, bringing illegal immigration to a “screeching halt.”
The Wyoming senator stressed the importance of reelecting Trump back into the White House, as well as securing a Republican majority in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate, if the nation wants to secure its southern border. Barrasso’s support for Trump comes shortly after the former president endorsed him for Senate Republican whip on Thursday.
“We need a better border president, we don’t have that now,” Barrasso said on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo. “We have a president that allowed nine million illegal immigrants into the country. He said he needs more laws. He doesn’t need more laws. He needs to stop abusing the laws. President Trump and Republicans understand that.”
