Republican National Committee (RNC) co-chair Lara Trump said the top priority of the party is “protecting the vote” in November’s elections.

Fox News host Maria Bartiromo asked Trump, the daughter-in-law of former President Trump, what her top priority is now that she was elected as the RNC co-chair. She pointed to recent comments made by Attorney General Merrick Garland earlier this month, who said the Justice Department will challenge states that are implementing “discriminatory, burdensome and unnecessary restrictions on access to the ballot.”

“That is a huge problem. We have three pillars that we need to focus on at the RNC to ensure victory on November 5, turn out the vote, protect the vote, and raise money. But I would argue that maybe the most important of those three is protecting the vote, election integrity,” Lara Trump said on “Sunday Morning Futures,” responding to Garland’s comments.

 “We have to ensure that, when people go vote, they feel like their vote counts, that they are inspired to go vote. We can never allow what happened in 2020 and the questions surrounding that election to ever happen again,” she added.

Newly-elected Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump said it is time for the RNC to up its game and compete with more strategy against the Democrats.

“We’ve been playing checkers, and the Democrats have been playing chess,” Trump told the Washington Examiner.

Trump was elected on Friday to replace Drew McKissick. Michael Whatley, the former chairman of the North Carolina GOP, replaced outgoing RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel.

“Unfortunately, we don’t have one day of voting, we don’t have paper ballots, we don’t have voter ID everywhere. So we have to play the hand that we’re dealt,” Trump said, noting the importance of early voting and mail-in voting where possible. “That way, we have votes banked as we head into Election Day, and we’re not playing catch up on Nov. 5 with the Democrats.”

“We need to be doing legal ballot harvesting — something that has never been done by the RNC, but I can promise you will be a huge part of what we’re planning to do,” she added. “And then come Election Day, and you’ll see that, I think, it’s not just about having poll watchers. It’s about having trained poll watchers and lawyers at locations around the country as necessary. And these are people who will be trained and able to physically count how many ballots are coming in. And how many ballots are going out.”

Trump said her goal is to “have people’s trust restored in our electoral process.”

You need to ensure that their vote won't be cancelled out by an illegal vote.  Unfortunately, after three years and four months of GOP inaction since the last Presidential election, you have a lot of catching up to do.

Will this include cheating?  Do you plan to cheat with ballot harvesting like the Democrats do?  Because if not, you won't win.

If you're going to harvest ballots, then do the same thing Democrats do.   Show up at ballot centers with truckloads of fake ballots and demand them to be counted.  Show America the ridiculousness of what Democrats currently do.  When Trump wins California with 40 million votes, only then will ballot harvesting go away.
