Deep state ‘sedition’: Obama’s top spook says Intel agencies could withhold info from Trump
March 10, 2024 | Melissa Fine

For 72 years, sitting administrations have turned to U.S. intelligence officials to brief the presidential candidates of the nation’s major political parties on the classified issues they could be facing come Inauguration Day.

Former CIA Director John Brennan, who was appointed by former President Barack Obama, wants to toss that tradition in the trash, because, “Orange Man Bad.”

From the moment they are sworn in, the elected President must be able to hit the ground running. It’s the hallmark of a peaceful transition of power. And that means party nominees must start forming a team to handle the many critical decisions that must be in place come January 20, 2025 “by no later than the spring of an election year.”

“An incoming president is responsible for making more than 4,000 political appointments, overseeing a budget of roughly $6 trillion, and managing a huge organization that employs more than 2 million federal employees and more than 2 million military and reserve forces,” according to the Center for Presidential Transition.

“Preparation is always crucial, but even more so as the country faces economic uncertainty, competing domestic priorities and potential national security threats,” the Center states. “Whoever takes the oath of office on Jan. 20, 2025, must be ready to respond to potential crises such as natural disasters and a host of foreign policy and national security issues.”

Brennan doesn’t care if failing to adequately prepare an incoming commander-in-chief puts the entire nation at risk if it means keeping potentially crucial information out of the hands of the GOP frontrunner, former President Donald Trump.

Schiff: I Hope Intelligence Community Will ‘Dumb Down’ Trump’s Briefings

Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that he hopes the intelligence community will “dumb down” former President Donald Trump’s briefings once he has the nomination.

Brennan is a complete scumbag.  But so is the writer/editor who thought this constitutes "sedition".

I have zero problem with any candidate not getting full-on intelligence briefings, including the non-disclosure of sources and methods.

Different story if they win election, but no need to disclose all that crap more than two months before they take office anyway.

One of the first acts of a second Trump presidency should be to FIRE EVERY "at the pleasure of the president" position at ALL the alphabet agencies.

FIRE ALL OF THEM.
Every one.

Then start over, from scratch if necessary.

If you reply with "but that will decimate our intelligence and law-enforcement agencies as they are today", my response is "I certainly hope so..."
