Russian President Vladimir Putin threatened on Thursday to use nuclear weapons if western allies come to Ukraine’s aid, in his annual state of the nation speech.

In the address to Russia’s Federal Assembly, Putin boasted of his country’s nuclear arsenal, including the deployment of new hypersonic missiles. He then referenced a controversial idea stirred up by French President Emmanuel Macron to send troops to Ukraine, which was swiftly rejected by the U.S. and other members of the western alliance NATO.

But, Putin doubled down on his threats against any NATO action, saying “potential aggressors will face far graver consequences” if they enter Russian territory.

“They must grasp that we also have weapons capable of striking targets on their territory,” Putin said. “Everything they are inventing now, spooking the world with the threat of a conflict involving nuclear weapons, which potentially means the end of civilization — don’t they realize this?”

Anyone possessing any degree of diplomatic competence would have relayed to Putin the cost of such an action including a list of every one of his properties as a guaranteed target.

But then of course no such person exists in this regime.

Sorry. Our espionage assets are all busy investigating dads who have the temerity to speak out against their daughters getting raped by a serial rapist while the school system covers it up, or school boards making off with millions of dollars in school funding, or bitching about books in the elementary school library instructing little kids in how to give/get blow jobs or 'go anal'.

They aren't watching sh*t overseas, and if they were being sneaky and spying, babble butt and his corps of DEI oral incontinents would have tipped off the world to any intelligence operation before it even started. They're busy watching the people who say their prayers in Latin, while letting 'Latin' terrorists travel back and forth across the border.

As for Economic, where is the leverage? We're sitting on a pile of debt that exceeds our GDP in a fiat currency we are devaluing daily with arbitrary edicts "forgiving" debt with no strings attached (just a vote out of the 'goodness' of your heart), and if the associations with those having their debts 'forgiven' are one iota less random than that, they should be investigated as nepotic corruption, or whatever fits.

We're allegedly run by a non compos mentis shuffler who more resembles a failing geriatric on outing than a President, who can't even stay on script, and appears more lost than a white tourist afoot in Harlem. Woo-ooh that'll have them shaking in their wet boots, won't it? For God's sake, he even reads the stage directions off the teleprompter.

...and from what is being done to this country from within, I'd say the axis of evil has one end securely rooted in a spot along the Potomac, just across from Northern Virginia.

As for diplomats, well it seems we're down to the likes of John F'n  Kerry.

IOW, we' need a change of management, some serious house cleaning, before we can even make something more than a laughable attempt.

Ya just GOTTA know this has the movers and shakers who have been standing behind Putin  to start "moving and shaking".

After all,that sociopath is now talking about nuking the west,and EVERYBODY knows what the result of that would be.

There just won't be anyplace left for the leadership to hide. Some of them MIGHT be a little concerned about the "little people" that make up the "working class" who will be hiding in the subways,but they had better be worried about themselves because when the "little people" come up  out of the subways,they ARE going to be pissed.

So will their brothers,fathers,cousins,and friends that just happen to be commanding Soviet fighter bombers,tanks,and infantry battalions.
