Is there precedent for anyone running for president, losing their primary in their home state where they previously held state-wide office, and staying in the race? Also, has Nikki Halley given her typical "I won even though I lost" speech yet?

Trump up  22.0% with 57% of the vote in.

Considering this is an open primary state, and obvious there was a  planned concerted effort to secure more democrat and Indy crossover.
And in your own home state?

No doubt Nimrata is rewriting the record book of what constitutes political embarassment, and at an epic level.  No way does her standing allow for her to be taken serious.

She needs to drop out; either she's making a ton of $$ or she knows something we don't know about the leverage the left has on Trump to keep him from running -- just my opinion.

Trump claimed tonight that he's never seen the Republican Party more unified.  Everyone says the race is essentially over, which I think is correct.  But if so, why are over 40% still voting for someone other than Trump?

He's pretty much a lock to win the nomination, but Haley still pulling this many votes suggests there are a lot of Republicans who still oppose him despite his inevitability.  Personally, though I despise Haley, I'd vote for her if she's still in the race by Ohio just to make the point that I won't support him.
