During this week’s broadcast of FNC’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD) was asked by host Maria Bartiromo to speculate on what was driving President Joe Biden’s policy decision-making.

Noem suggested Biden was not running the White House and whoever was in charge was promoting a “socialist, communist agenda.”


“He’s weak,” she said. “And somebody’s — somebody is running the White House. I don’t believe it’s Joe Biden. He’s never been this extreme. This is an extreme remaking of America, and it is a socialist, communist agenda. I think that they have so infiltrated the Democrat Party that it’s no longer the Democrat Party of 20 years ago. It’s now a socialist party that does not want a strong America. The people that are coming across that southern border aren’t coming here to be like American citizens, to love our country, to protect our freedoms.”

I think Noem has potential to be a VP candidate with Trump. DeSantis is out, because Trump would constitutionally be denied FL's electoral votes. I think Abbott is too needed in TX. Noem is hated by all the "right people".

Yes, Noem has been well aware of what is going on. She didn't name Obama/Soros as the 'infiltrators' or  controllers but yes, they have a socialist/communist agenda.

Trump has hinted that he may select her as his VP - I think it would be a wise decision., but that leaves SD with an open governor seat that is very conservative. That's the down side.

We need to keep as many conservative governors, and even seat more as we can.  That IS conservative's only push back right now; with Noem, DeSantis and Abbott as the strongest governors that I am aware of.

Regarding her being Trump's VP pick. No one who has hitched their wagon to Trump has survived politically. I think she's smarter than that but who knows.

She has already stated that she would consider the position if offered.

Just a hunch here .... with Trump stating that he needs to be selective of whom he picks should something happen, leads me to believe that if elected he may step down for various reasons.

I believe you are correct regarding DeSantis and something that I hadn't thought about. 

However, if Trump were to step down shortly afterward, Noem would step into the Prez spot and she could go ahead and select DeSantis as her VP.  That's about as conservative of a ticket that's available.  Yes .... I know I'm dreaming.

Drop the qualifier "Socialist".
You know as well as I do that it's past 'way beyond that now...
