Kevin McCarthy Coming for Eli Crane

While I didn't follow it, apparently Crane was one of the Gaetz 8.

And Kevin McCarthy is determined to make them pay.

Per one of his operatives:

The McCarthy ally said of the Gaetz Eight, "These traitors chose to side with Nancy Pelosi, AOC and over 200 Democrats to undermine the institution, their fellow Republicans and a duly elected speaker. There must be consequences for that decision.”

And so, they are trying to primary folks.  Crane didn't have a serious challenger that I am aware of, but McCarthy might be looking to change that.
