At least they waited until the voting was over this time.  As for the numbers, Trump had a bigger lead than this in 2020 at this point shortly after the polls closed.  We all know how that turned out.

If Nikki Haley’s primary goal is to defeat Joe Biden in November, she will drop out tonight and endorse Trump. If she continues to stay in a race she cannot win just to attack Trump, then we’ll know she’s fully owned by the left-wing Democrats who are funding her campaign.

It's January FFS.  The republicans have ten months to recycle their 100% negative campaign against Biden.  Why not give us a little bit of entertainment before diving into that?

I can't help but wonder what would have happened had DeSantis stayed in the race??  Would he have taken votes away from Trump or from Haley??

It would depend on whether he got over 10%.  Over 10%, he would have taken away delegate votes from both.  Under 10%, and his delegate votes would have gone to Trump.

It would make sense that she would drop out -- but she has the GOPe and $$ machine behind her. 

Perhaps if she loses SC -- Joe will step down and we'll find out who the DEMS aer going to run?

So the margin is getting slimmer -- so again, I'm not understanding how they can so quickly call if for Trump.  They did the same thing in IA and people were still voting as the polls hadn't closed.

Sorry, but something just isn't right.  Maybe I'm reading more into the situation.
