Vivek Ramaswamy suspends campaign, endorses Trump

Vivek Ramaswamy suspended his campaign on Monday and endorsed former President Donald Trump following a fourth-place finish in the Iowa caucuses.

He plans to appear with Trump in New Hampshire at a Tuesday evening rally.

“There’s no path for me to be the next president absent things that we don’t want to see happen in this country,” he told supporters.9

The wealthy biotech entrepreneur and longshot Republican presidential candidate drew outsized media attention with combative debate performances and by leaning into conspiracy theories around 9/11 and the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. He also defended Trump at every turn, calling him the greatest president of the 21st Century and vowing to pardon him.

Ramaswamy called Trump, in what he described as a “very friendly conversation,” before coming out to address his supporters. He offered “full-throated support” for the former president even after the two publicly quarreled in the run-up to the caucuses. And he left the door open to being Trump’s running mate.

Remember -- neither of Vivek's parents are citizens.  Little is known about him other than his affiliation with the Soros family. He's a slick talker and Obama 2.0.
