Just 'Raising Questions'
David StromHouse Speaker Mike Johnson is not exactly beloved by the intelligentsia or the midwits who populate the MSM.
He is, in fact, hated by them.
Why? He is pretty normal, well-liked, and a deeply religious Christian. He is currently Speaker of the House mainly because he is one of the few people most people like in Washington. As a Republican, his being well-liked is a strike against him if your job is to demonize the right.
Among Mike’s many sins is that he adopted a Black son–a 14-year-old boy who needed a home. He did this long before he became a politician, and there was no conceivable benefit to him or his career. He did it because he is a good man.
For this, he must be crucified.
So Newsweek wrote a story using his son’s not appearing in Johnson’s Christmas photo posted on Twitter/X. It was a good hook–one that could be used to emphasize what a neanderthal Johnson is. (The MSM did the same thing with two of Johnson’s other children; one was a story about a father-daughter dance that was portrayed as creepy and another about how he and one of his sons avoid online pornography).
