As it stands, I intend to vote for someone other than Trump in the primary. But come November, if he is the Republican candidate, he will have my vote. His 2nd term will be nothing more than than lameduck, served up on a shinny platter. The Dems will not work with him, neither will the Republicans, so the only things getting done will be via Executive Orders. And that is no way to run a government.
Even if the Republicans took majorities in both houses, it would not produce much of anything. Trump is clueless at building coalitions to accomplish anything. His constant berating/denigrating folks accomplishes little.
And I find the pushing of Halley to be a joke. What did she EVER accomplish? A big fat nothing, just like Obama. In a nation of 350 million, one would think we would have better leadership than we do. The only solution is TERM LIMITS, and everyone here knows that will never happen.
Our republic as we have known it most of our lives is gone. How long it takes for total collapse to come depends on a number of events to happen. The newly elected leader of Argentina, Millei, wants to eliminate their currency and use the USA dollar for their currency. Things like this will help prolong the time for that day when our collapse comes. But when it does, it will be catastrophically brutal.
