The pair will be especially close on the morning of November 9, making a captivating pair. They’ll be about 1 degree apart in darkness – the width of 2 full moons side-by-side – and a daytime occultation is visible from north Canada, most of Greenland, Iceland, Svalbard, west Russia, most of Europe, parts of north Africa, and most of the Middle East. It’ll also be a good day to try and find Venus in the daytime.
