A pro-Palestinian college professor was questioned by police at the scene of Paul Kessler’s death in Thousand Oaks, Calif., The Post can reveal.

Moorpark college professor Loay Alnaji, 50, was filmed speaking to a female officer, who could be seen taking a picture of his hands in a video provided to The Post by Jewish Life Television. 

“So you tried to hit the phone,” the deputy can be heard asking Alnaji in the clip, to which he nods yes.

Bearded Alnaji is sitting on the curb next to the blood-stained sidewalk, while people rush to attend to Paul Kessler, 69, who fell and hit the back of his head following a clash between pro-Israel and pro-Palestine protesters.

Kessler, who had been waving an Israeli flag in support of the country died less than 24 hours after sustaining his injuries and the death has been ruled a homicide.

Ventura County Sheriff Jim Fryhoff has said they are still investigating the incident  .  .  .

Daily Mail (h/t Charlotte)  The man who police have questioned in relation to the death of a Jewish man during a clash with pro-Palestinian protestors is 50-year-old college professor,  Loay Alnaji, who teaches computer science at Ventura Community College in California allegedly hit Paul Kessler with a megaphone knocking him to the ground, resulting in a fatal blow to the head.

Records show that Alnaji came to the United States in the 1990s – he had previously taught in the United Arab Emirates. He married Palestinian economics professor Nada Al Hammouri on Christmas Eve 2015. They have three children.

In an earlier report about the death of Paul Kessler, the California man who was attacked by pro-Hamas agitators at a protest on Sunday, we noted that through our investigative work we'd identified the person we believe struck Kessler with a megaphone was a local college professor who was involved with that school's Muslim Student Association. Now we can confirm that man, Loay Alnaji, is indeed the person law enforcement officers have interviewed in connection with the case.

Loay Alnaji, a 50-year-old college professor specializing in computer science and a Muslim immigrant, has been identified as the Hamas supporter responsible for fatally striking Jewish protestor Paul Kessler with a megaphone during a clash between pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian rallies in Thousand Oaks, California.

Alnaji is a college professor who came to the United States in the 1990s, having previously taught in the United Arab Emirates.

He bought a home in Moorpark, California, in 2007 and is married to Palestinian economics professor Nada Al Hammouri. (See an older picture of the couple below)

Loay Alnaji's home was raided but police have STILL not made an arrest!

Alnaji posted a video on social media featuring a Muslim killer named Shahid King Bolsen, who compared Hamas to historical civil rights icons in the video.

 Suspect arrested in death of Paul Kessler, Jewish man killed during pro-Palestinian protest

A suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of a Jewish man in California who died from injuries sustained while counterprotesting a pro-Palestine demonstration, authorities said.

Loay Abdelfattah Alnaji, 50, has been taken into custody Wednesday in Moorpark in connection to the death of Paul Kessler, who was involved in a scuffle with pro-Palestinian protestors on Nov. 5, Ventura County Sheriff’s Office announced.

He will be booked at the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility on involuntary manslaughter charges, authorities said.

Bail for Alnaji has been set at $1,000,000.

Kessler – who was spotted waving an Israeli flag just moments before the incident – suffered a head injury in the altercation.

He was later seen lying on the pavement while two people, including a woman wearing a “Free Palestine” jacket, came to his aid, footage of the incident showed.

An autopsy determined his manner of death was a homicide, and the cause of death was a blunt force head injury, according to the sheriff’s office.
