Israeli hostages rest in processing facility amid release: photos

The 17 hostages released by Hamas on Saturday have now returned to Israel, the IDF confirms.

As the hostages were being transported out of Gaza via Egypt, they rested in a halfway processing facility between the Rafah Border Crossing and the Keren Shalom crossing.

Israeli hostages released by Hamas ID'd: report

The 13 Israeli hostages freed by Hamas after hours of delays have been identified, the Times of Israel reports.

Noam Or, 17 and Alma Or, 13, have been released. Their father Dror Or, 48, and their cousin, Liam Or, 18, remain in captivity. Their mother Yonat Or was killed by Hamas in the massacre on their town of Kibbutz Be'eri.

Emily Hand, 9, has been freed after initially being thought to have been killed by Hamas at Kibbutz Be'eri.

Hila Rotem, 12, was released without her mother, Raya Rotem, 54, the two were taken captive together.

Noam Avigdori, 12, and her mother Sharon Avigdori, were released after they and ten of their family members were abducted from Kibbutz Be'eri on October 7.

Shoshan Haran, 67, her daughter Adi Shoham, 38, and her grandchildren Yahel, 3, and Naveh, 8 have been released.

Shiri Weiss, 53 and her daughter, Noga Weiss, 18 have been freed.

Maya Regev, 21, has been released.

One of the 13 Israeli Hostages who was Released tonight, 21 y/o Maya Regev is being taken to Beersheba's Soroka Hospital in order to receive Immediate Medical Care, however it is not believed that her Condition is Life-Threatening.

Freed hostage Maya Regev, 21, in stable condition

Maya Regev was released by Hamas on Saturday evening.

She is in stable condition and was taken to the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba, Israel's Health Ministry announced.

She was kidnapped from the Supernova music festival on Oct. 7 with her brother Itai.

Her brother still remains a hostage, according to the Times of Israel.

Regev was the only hostage brought Soroka to receive medical treatment, the outlet reported.

She is currently undergoing treatment and will be reunited with friends and family, the Health Ministry said.

Released hostage Maya Regev taken to hospital with leg injury

Maya Regev, the first hostage from the music festival  to be released from captivity in Gaza, was taken to Soroka Hospital for medical treatment due to a leg injury. The other hostages were evacuated to Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer. (Adir Yanko)

Israel released 39 Palestinian prisoners, some charged with attempted murder, in exchange for 13 hostages

Israel freed nearly 39 prisoners Saturday evening in exchange for the 13 Israelis Hamas released.

All the prisoners were female, and some included minors.

The prisoners were all from the West Bank or East Jerusalem.

Their charges range from attempted murder to security crimes, according to the Times of Israel.

None of the prisoners released were convicted of murder.

Israel receives third list of hostage group to be released Sunday: report

Israel has received a list of the third group of hostages — expected to be released on Sunday — per a report from The Times of Israel.

An Israeli public broadcaster reported that Israel had begun notifying the families whose loved ones are on the list, which was provided by Qatar, whose officials have helped broker the deal between Israel and Hamas.

Sunday will be the third day of the agreed-upon four-day truce, though the cease-fire could be extended contingent upon the release of more hostages.

Irish prime minister slammed for his comments on Emily Hand's release

Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar has been slammed by critics on X for not mentioning that Emily Hand, who was released Saturday by Hamas, had been kidnapped by the terrorist group.

"This is a day of enormous joy and relief for Emily Hand and her family. An innocent child who was lost has now been found and returned, and we breathe a massive sigh of relief.  Our prayers have been answered," the PM posted on X.

"This is how you describe a little girl who went missing during a stroll in a forest, then gets discovered by a friendly hiker. Not a girl brutally abducted by death squads that brutally massacred her neighbors," Israeli government spokesperson, Eylon Levy, said on X.

"Emily Hand was not ‘lost’ or mislaid. This is NOT an Oscar Wilde play," the Irish Jewish Voice wrote.

"You're simply scum," one wrote.

Another wrote: "Why can't you simply state that Emily Hand was kidnapped by terrorists? Hamas got you by the short hairs? Quisling."

Varadkar has not responded publicly to the backlash.
