NYC public school students brandish antisemitic signs, call for Israel to be eradicated

A group of New York City public school students walked out of class and traveled across the East River Wednesday afternoon to brandish signs to call for the ethnic cleansing of the Jewish state.
Several high school girls from the Urban Assembly Institute of Math and Science for Young Women displayed signs reading “Please Keep the World Clean” and showing the Star of David in a garbage can.
The group of about 20 high school students, who had attended an New York University pro-Palestine walkout with their teacher in Manhattan’s Washington Square Park, also chanted for the eradication of Israel.
A 16-year-old girl in the group told The Post they had walked out of class to protest Israel’s “genocide.”
“Everyone is scared of Israel and their hate crimes. [President Joe] Biden is supporting a genocide,” she said.
The Department of Education did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Meanwhile, several hundred New York University peacefully rallied to show solidarity with Palestine as part of a nationwide walkout.
