Warlike atmosphere in Israeli towns on Lebanese border: Residents evacuate voluntarily

A highly tense atmosphere prevails on Sunday in the Northern Galilee region during the second day of the war. The majority of residents nearby the border barrier with Lebanon responded proactively to the security system's recommendations and voluntarily evacuated to southern areas. In the towns nearby the border fence, primarily emergency squads and essential workers remain. The emergency squads in all the villages along the Lebanese border were reinforced on Saturday evening with additional IDF forces. There is minimal civilian vehicle traffic on the roads, with a simultaneous increased presence of tanks and other military vehicles.

Surface-to-air missile battery activated near Israel-Lebanon border

Israel fired a Patriot surface-to-air missile near the border with Lebanon, not far from the Israeli city of Safed.

I am sure all of the hostages captured by Hamas are no longer in Gaza.
In Gaza the IDF could find/rescue some of them. I doubt many of them will ever be recovered.
No worse fate on Earth than an Infidel woman (or child) of any country being captured Muslims.

The first stop will likely be Egypt.
Then they will be distributed around the Muslim world as slaves and propaganda.

I would expect that a good percentage of the hostages would be kept in Gaza so Israel would think twice before wiping Gaza off the face of the Earth.

US working to confirm reports that 'several' Americans are 'among the dead' in Israel, Blinken says

Secretary of State Tony Blinken says the U.S. government is aware of multiple reports of Americans citizens being killed or taken hostage in Israel amid Hamas terrorists' ongoing attack on the country.

Blinken made the statement during a Sunday appearance on NBC News, telling host Kristen Welker that President Biden's administration is working to find the facts.

"We have reports that several Americans may be among the dead. We are very actively working to verify those reports," Blinken said. "Similarly, we've seen reports about hostages, and there, again, we're very actively trying to verify them and nail that down."

Unconfirmed reports have stated that individuals of multiple nationalities were among victims of Hamas killed at a music festival in southern Israel near the Gaza border. Witnesses of the attack say Hamas gunman opened fire on a crowd of hundreds, though casualty reports from the festival have yet to be verified.

Fox News Digital has reached out to the State Department for more information on potential American victims in Israel.

You cannot imagine the absolute horror that was visited on Israel by these savages. My friends and family there all appear to be safe, for now, thank the Lord.

But I could not sleep last night after listening to the stories.

I would expect that a good percentage of the hostages would be kept in Gaza so Israel would think twice before wiping Gaza off the face of the Earth.

It is strongly suspected that they are being held in the same tunnels that have been used to house guns, rockets, and armored vehicles along with military command and control bunkers.

Reminder, Gaza doesn’t have shelters or an iron dome and to please pray for them. May peace prevail in the region and move us towards a moral awakening to care about the human suffering we are seeing. Palestinians are human beings who have been in besieged and are deserving of protection from the international community.

As much as I want them home safe, Israel needs to accept that they're dead and go scorched earth in Gaza. No mercy, no quarter. Eradicate those vermin once and for all. NEW: Israel's security cabinet has voted to go to war for the first time since the Yom Kippur War of 1973.

Prime Minister Netanyahu had already declared that Israel was "at war" but according to Netanyahu's office, the official vote unlocks "significant military activities."

What sometimes gets lost in history, for us who lived though it.  .......   Is that there was a massive amount of cheering and parties in the streets of the Middle East  the day of 9-11-01.

Islam is our enemy.  I don't care how un-PC that sounds.
